The LCC board of directors is a group of individuals that feels called to further the mission of the Presbyterian Camps and preserve the ministry of the Presbyterian Camps for generations to come. As Presbyterians we are not only dedicated to the camping ministry but also active in our home churches. All of us at one time or another have been active Presbyterians serving our congregations.

We all bring unique professional background skill sets and spiritual gifts to the Lakeshore Christian Camping Board. It is not by chance that we have come together. Over the years, each of us has worked with one another on camp projects, committees or served as volunteers. A few examples of these are:

> Don Gilliard, Lisa Doak, Jennifer Schuham, Douglas McCoy and Bob Zinkel have served together on the Camp Oversight and Development Committee of the Presbytery of Chicago. 

> Bill Johnson served 2-1/2 years as the camps Interim Director and worked directly with the Camp Oversight and Development Committee.

> Lisa Doak and Jennifer Schuham served on the Presbyterian Camps Master Plan Committee

> Lisa Doak, Douglas McCoy, and Jennifer Schuham served on the Presbyterian Camps Facilities Committee

> Don Gilliard and Jennifer Schuham have served on an Accountant Search Committee within the Presbytery of Chicago.

> Don Gilliard, Bob Zinkel, Douglas McCoy and Jennifer Schuham served together as the Presbyterian Camps Administration committee.

> Bob Zinkel has served on the Business Affairs Work Group of the Presbytery for six years. Bob has also served on the Church Finance Sub-Committee.

> Janet Hyde and Douglas McCoy have led Knox Presbyterian Churches Go & Serve Mission Teams in service to the Presbyterian Camps to help build new cabins, Bluebird & Rose 2, and renovate existing facilities.

> Douglas McCoy and Jennifer Schuham have worked together as camp counselors for the Senior High camp program for over 16 years.

> Rev. Stewart Pattison is the Senior Pastor at Community Presbyterian Church of Lombard.

Together our hearts are dedicated to keeping the Presbyterian Camps a holy place available and accessible to all. A place where all of us can come and seek out: time for peace and quiet, fellowship with our friends and family, natural beauty of God’s Creation and a place to refuel the soul. We are a group that truly knows how to work, play and pray together.
