What can you do?
Lakeshore is asking for your help to save the Presbyterian Camps. You can help in any of the following ways.
PRAY: Please pray for Lakeshore’s efforts and the preservation of the natural environment.
PLEDGE: Currently, Lakeshore is accepting pledges. Pledges may be made for one, two or three year periods. The 2010 portion of the pledge will be called in early August provided Lakeshore is successful in securing the Camp. Pledge forms are available on the website.
DONATE: There are several ways to give. Tax deductible donations may be made directly on the website using your credit card. Cash gifts may be sent to Lakeshore Christian Camping PO Box 306 Lombard, Il 60148. Deferred giving options, including Charitable Gift Annuities that provide income for life to the donor and a current gift to the Camps, are available through the Presbyterian Foundation. Please send an email to info@prescampsforever.org if you are interested in one of these options and a gift development professional will arrange to contact you.

HOST A MEETING: Lakeshore is interested in meeting with as many individuals, congregations in the Chicago Presbytery and conservancy groups interested in the preserving the Michigan’s natural lakefront and sand dunes as possible. If you would like to learn more about Lakeshore’s proposal to purchase the camp, host a meeting in your home to help raise awareness of the camp and the possibility that it could be lost, invite the LCC to your session or group meeting, or simply have coffee with a couple of board members from the LCC please send an e-mail to: info@prescampsforever.org
VISIT OUR FACEBOOK PAGE: In order to spread the word quickly, please visit Lakeshore’s Facebook page (Lakeshore Christian Camping) for the latest news and updates on the status of the camp. Post a message about your experiences at camp. Get your family and friends involved; pictures are welcome!!!
